Water Eject requires iOS / iPadOS 17 or later. No account is required.

How do I use a low-frequency session?

Disconnect headphones or Bluetooth speakers. Point the device's speaker openings down and keep them unobstructed. Begin at a low, comfortable volume. Choose a 60-second regular session or a 30-second quick session, then tap Start Cleaning after the placement guide. You can pause or stop at any time. The app does not raise the system volume automatically.

Sound may help move residual water near a speaker grille. It cannot guarantee water or dust removal, repair damage or make a device waterproof. Stop if problems continue and seek appropriate device service. Seven-day progress is a local activity record, not a clinical program or a requirement to run the tool every day.

Why is there no sound or little channel separation?

Check system volume and the selected output device, including Bluetooth and AirPlay routes. Some frequencies may exceed the device's output or your hearing range. Do not compensate by greatly increasing the volume. Stereo headphones or a pair of speakers make left/right separation easier to check.

Are the decibel readings accurate?

The app provides uncalibrated microphone estimates for relative comparison. It does not replace a professional sound-level meter and is not suitable for hearing-safety decisions or diagnosis. A 0–120 gauge does not mean the phone accurately measures that entire range. Guide examples are matched by numeric level, not recognition of the sound source.

How do I restore microphone or camera access?

Find Water Eject in system Settings and enable the required microphone or camera permission, then retry. The camera feature requires physical camera hardware. Devices without an available camera, including Simulator, display an unavailable state. Ordinary sound-level measurement does not save recordings; videos you choose to record include audio.

Where are photos and videos saved?

The system share sheet opens after capture. Choose Photos, Files or another available destination. The app removes temporary exports after normal sharing completion or closing the camera, so complete any save you need first. Saved copies are managed by their destination app or service.

How do I change language and appearance?

Open Settings > Language > App Language and choose Follow System, 简体中文 or English. Changes apply immediately. Appearance supports Light, Dark and System.

Does the app charge a fee?

The first release of Water Eject is free with all tools included. It offers no in-app purchases, subscriptions or paid unlocks. There are no purchases to restore.
